Exit wurde 1972 in Frauenfeld gegründet. Der eigentliche Durchbruch gelang während einer Tournee mit Birth Control – man beschloss für die treue
Fangemeinde eine LP herauszugeben. Gesagt, getan - sie wurde 1975 im MS Studio in Dietikon mit 2 Revox-Maschinen ohne technische Tricks eingespielt! Alles was darauf zu
hören ist wurde also wirklich so gespielt! Der Musikstil ist sehr eigenwillig: Lange Tracks im Stil von vielleicht Pink Floyd, keyboardbetont, mit unverkennbarem Chorgesang
und spritzigen Einlagen die an die Beatzeit erinnern. Die Symbiose zwischen Deutschrock und Lebensfreude.
The formation of Swiss rock band Exit dates back to the year 1972. The breakout came during a tour with the band Birth Control and the band from
Frauenfeld decided to produce an LP for its devoted fan club. As there was practically no budget for production and almost no digital studios existing, Exit recorded in the
MS studio in Dietikon with two revox 2-track machines. So all the music was really played without tricks! Their style is special: long tracks remaining to Pink Floyd,
keyboard loaded with additional characteristic choir singing and a very fresh garage edge. It’s a document of a unique combination of krautrock and joy.

Das Bonus-Material ist - teilweise in Formation mit Saxophonist - eingespielt zwischen1975 – 1979. Suchte man auf der LP an entlegenen Orten nach
dem Paradies und dem Sinn des Lebens so wurde die Suche später fortgesetzt – textlich war die Lebensfindung weiterhin im Werden. Musikalisch vermischte sich Krautrock mit
Jazzrock – dieser keinesfalls gewöhnlich – mit wundervollen Passagen. Der letzte Track wurde jeweils am Schluss der Live Auftritte gespielt bevor die Zuschauer den Heimweg
antraten: wer englische Bands wie Sopwith Camel liebt wird seine helle Freude daran haben!
The bonus tracks date from 1975 – 1979 and some where recorded in new formation with a saxophonist. If the record was in some aspects a hard search
for the paradise and the meaning of life so this search continued in their later lyrics. The music became continuously influenced by jazz – including beautiful parts far
away from common music. The last track used to be played on stage before the fans went at home – fans into english songs like Sopwith Camel will be exited!
